A wrong-way crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive in Chicago early Thursday morning injured three people, two of them critically. The incident occurred around 3:50 a.m. when a vehicle traveling southbound entered the roadway incorrectly and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle. Two women in the wrong-way vehicle sustained serious injuries and were transported to Northwestern Hospital, while a man in the other vehicle was taken to the same hospital for chest pain but is in good condition. As a result of the crash, both directions of DuSable Lake Shore Drive were closed for investigation, causing disruptions during the morning rush hour. Authorities are pending citations and continue to investigate the incident.
