Memorial Day Parades Honor Fallen Veterans Across U.S. Communities

Communities across the United States are preparing to honor fallen military service members with Memorial Day parades and ceremonies on May 26, 2025. Chicago will hold a wreath-laying at Daley Plaza followed by a parade down State Street, while Arvada's parade begins at 11 a.m., preceded by a cemetery service. Appleton's parade starts at 9 a.m. and includes a special tribute featuring banners with names of local fallen servicemen and women, culminating in a "Moment of Remembrance" at Riverside Cemetery. These events collectively emphasize community reflection and gratitude for those who sacrificed their lives in service to the nation.
