Teachers Compete Nationally in 'America's Favorite Teacher' Contest

Several teachers have advanced to the quarterfinals of the 'America's Favorite Teacher' competition, which aims to celebrate exceptional educators across the U.S. Each quarterfinalist is vying for a grand prize of $25,000, a trip to Hawaii, a school assembly featuring Bill Nye, and a feature in Reader's Digest. Among the contenders, Heather Fink from Pennsylvania emphasizes the importance of building trusting relationships with her students, while Hannah Fraley from St. Louis highlights her desire to inspire a love of learning amidst personal challenges. Jessica Williams, a special education teacher, aims to fund educational projects if she wins, while Marcy Fisher expresses gratitude for the support she has received throughout the competition. Voting for the quarterfinals ends on April 17, and participants can vote daily for free or donate to cast additional votes. The winner will be announced in May.
