Nampa K-9 Riddick Killed in Police Chase

Nampa Police K-9 officer Riddick was killed and his handler, Officer Cody Huss, was injured after their patrol vehicle was rammed by a suspect during a police chase on September 21. The patrol car rolled off the road, causing Riddick to be ejected and killed. Two suspects, Stephanie Ann Kettermann and Tanner Lucas Howe, were arrested following the incident. Kettermann faces multiple felony charges including battery of a law enforcement officer and drug trafficking. Howe, who was initially reported to be on parole, was captured at a local convenience store after a four-hour search. The Nampa Police Department is planning a public memorial service for K-9 Riddick.
