The Twiga partnership between Barrick Mining Corporation and the Tanzanian government has reached its fifth anniversary, marking significant economic and social contributions to Tanzania. Since 2019, Barrick has invested approximately $4.79 billion into the local economy, with over 90% of procurement sourced from Tanzanian suppliers and 96% of its workforce being Tanzanian, demonstrating a strong commitment to local development.
