Disney+ Adds ESPN+ Content and Hulu Previews

Disney+ has integrated an ESPN tile, allowing subscribers to access ESPN+ content, including live sports events and original programming, directly within the Disney+ app. This initiative is part of Disney's strategy to provide a seamless viewing experience for bundle subscribers of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ and to encourage upgrades to the full bundle. The integration enables subscribers to access over 30,000 live sports events annually, with plans for a more comprehensive ESPN streaming service set to launch in 2025. Disney aims to expand its audience by reaching casual and diverse demographics, enhancing retention and reducing churn in the competitive streaming market. Additionally, Disney+ subscribers can now preview select content from Hulu and ESPN+, even if they are not subscribers to those services, further promoting the bundled package.
