Cast members returning include Tom Sturridge as Dream and Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer, alongside new actors such as Esmé Creed-Miles and Adrian Lester. Showrunner Allan Heinberg hinted at a complex narrative filled with intrigue and conflict that will challenge Dream. Although there is no specific release date, 'The Sandman' is set to debut in 2025. The production follows a tumultuous period for Gaiman's adaptations, with other projects being suspended amid allegations against him.
