Netflix Reveals Behind-the-Scenes Look at The Sandman Season 2

Netflix has unveiled a behind-the-scenes look at Season 2 of 'The Sandman' during its Geeked Week event, revealing that the upcoming season will adapt the 'Season of Mists' storyline from Neil Gaiman's graphic novel series. The season will introduce a gathering of deities including Norse gods Thor, Loki, and Odin as well as Dream's siblings like Destiny, Delirium, and the Prodigal. Cast members returning include Tom Sturridge as Dream and Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer, alongside new actors such as Esmé Creed-Miles and Adrian Lester. Showrunner Allan Heinberg hinted at a complex narrative filled with intrigue and conflict that will challenge Dream. Although there is no specific release date, 'The Sandman' is set to debut in 2025. The production follows a tumultuous period for Gaiman's adaptations, with other projects being suspended amid allegations against him.
