Woman Seriously Injured in Florida Hit-and-Run

A 38-year-old woman from Keystone Heights, Florida, was seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident while walking on State Road 100 on Saturday night. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the vehicle struck her around 10:45 p.m. and fled the scene, leaving her with serious injuries that required transport to UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville. In a separate incident, a woman was critically injured in South Philadelphia after being hit by a vehicle that also left the scene early Monday morning near the intersection of South Broad Street and North Terminal Avenue. Authorities confirmed she suffered multiple injuries, including a spinal injury, and investigations are ongoing in both cases. Police are seeking information related to both incidents and have not provided descriptions of the vehicles involved.
