LA Galaxy Plans Cobi Jones Statue for 2026

Cobi Jones, a legendary midfielder for the LA Galaxy and the U.S. Men's National Team, will receive a bronze statue at Dignity Health Sports Park, making him the third player to be honored in Legends Plaza alongside David Beckham and Landon Donovan. The statue, set to be unveiled in 2026, coincides with the upcoming World Cup being hosted in the U.S. Jones expressed his gratitude, highlighting the support he's received from the Galaxy community throughout his career. During his 12 seasons with the Galaxy, he scored 70 goals, assisted 91 times, and was a two-time MLS Cup champion. He also made significant contributions to the U.S. National Team, participating in three World Cups and earning a place in the National Soccer Hall of Fame. The upcoming unveiling will celebrate Jones's legacy and commitment to soccer, inspiring future generations.
