Pet Shop Boys Headline Lytham Festival 2026 Homecoming
The Pet Shop Boys, the most successful duo in UK music history, are confirmed to headline the Lytham Festival 2026 with their acclaimed show 'Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live' on July 4, marking a significant homecoming for Chris Lowe, who was born and raised in Blackpool. Their Dreamworld tour has received outstanding reviews and has seen sold-out shows globally, including a residency at London's Royal Opera House and headline spots at major festivals such as Isle of Wight and BBC Radio 2 In The Park. The 2026 Lytham Festival, celebrating its 15th anniversary from July 1 to 5, will also feature Grammy-nominated singer Teddy Swims as the opening night headliner. Tickets for the Pet Shop Boys' performance go on pre-sale October 3 and general sale October 4, with the festival offering a five-night lineup in Lancashire. The duo recently announced 'Disco 5', the latest in their ongoing series of dance track remix albums, continuing their influential presence in the music scene since their 1985 debut. Festival co-founder Peter Taylor praised the duo for their lasting impact and relevance across generations, highlighting the event as a must-see for fans and attendees.
