John Eustace Takes Over as Derby County Manager

Derby County has officially appointed John Eustace as their new Head Coach, returning to the club after previous playing stints. Eustace, who signed a contract until summer 2028, is tasked with steering the team away from relegation after the recent sacking of Paul Warne. Owner David Clowes expressed his excitement about Eustace's leadership qualities and past successes in helping teams avoid relegation. Despite leaving Blackburn Rovers, currently in the play-off positions, Eustace believes in Derby's long-term potential and infrastructure. His backroom team, including assistants Keith Downing and Matt Gardiner, will join him at Pride Park. Eustace's first match is anticipated to be against QPR, another of his former clubs.
