Syracuse Basketball Secures Commitment from Transfer Naithan George

Naithan George, a standout point guard from Georgia Tech, has officially committed to Syracuse for the upcoming season. The 6-foot-3 sophomore averaged 12.3 points and led the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) with 6.5 assists per game during his time with the Yellow Jackets. George's transfer is significant for Syracuse as they seek to fill the gap left by the departure of Jaquan Carlos, who struggled in his role last season. George is the third player to join the Orange this offseason from the transfer portal, alongside William Kyle III from UCLA and Nate Kingz from Oregon State. His experience at a high-major level, combined with his playmaking skills, is expected to bolster Syracuse’s backcourt significantly.
