Vince Gilligan's Apple TV Series 'Pluribus' Premieres November 7
Apple TV has released the trailer for "Pluribus," a new nine-episode series created by Vince Gilligan, known for "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul." The show stars Rhea Seehorn as Carol, described as "the most miserable person on Earth," who must save the world from an enigmatic force spreading happiness, which most of humanity seems to have succumbed to. The series blends genres including sci-fi, drama, and dark humor, with a tone marked by Gilligan's signature moral tension and surreal storytelling. "Pluribus" premieres globally on November 7, 2025, with the first two episodes available, followed by weekly releases through December 26, and has already been renewed for a second season. The cast also includes Karolina Wydra, Carlos-Manuel Vesga, Miriam Shor, and Samba Schutte, with production by Sony Pictures Television and executive producers including Gilligan and Alison Tatlock. The trailer and early teasers highlight Carol’s struggle against the pervasive happiness and hint at a mysterious, possibly governmental interest in her unique resistance.
