Yankees' Ben Rice exits game with left elbow contusion

Yankees designated hitter Ben Rice exited Saturday's game against the Rays after being hit by a pitch on his left elbow, resulting in a contusion. Rice was struck twice by pitches during the contest, staying in to run the bases both times before being replaced by Pablo Reyes in the sixth inning. He was sent to a local hospital for X-rays and a CT scan to assess any structural damage, and is currently considered day-to-day.
