22-Year-Old Arrested in Murder of American Idol Executive, Husband in Los Angeles

Robin Kaye, a longtime music supervisor for American Idol, and her husband Thomas Deluca were found shot dead in their Los Angeles mansion after a burglary gone wrong. Police arrested 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian, who is believed to have entered the home through an unlocked door and fatally shot the couple during a confrontation when they unexpectedly returned. Despite prior reports of a possible prowler and burglary on the property, officers did not find evidence or forced entry during an earlier visit and left the scene. The couple's bodies were discovered days later following a welfare check prompted by neighbors. Authorities believe Boodarian acted alone and had no known connection to the victims.
