Nintendo Announces Switch 2 Launch Date, Pricing, Features

Nintendo has officially unveiled the Switch 2, set to launch on June 5, 2025, featuring significant upgrades including improved graphics, audio, and a new 'C' button for enhanced gameplay functionality. The console will retail at £395.99 in the UK, with a bundle including Mario Kart World priced at £429.99. The Switch 2 supports higher resolution gaming with 1080p at 120Hz, and in docked mode, it can achieve up to 4K at 60 FPS. Notable game titles announced for the console include Mario Kart World, Elden Ring, and Street Fighter 6, alongside the promise of backwards compatibility with existing Switch games.
