Sterling K. Brown recounts teenage arrest warrant experience

Sterling K. Brown recounted a teenage incident that led to an arrest warrant during his appearance on Good Morning America on January 28. He shared a story about being pulled over by a motorcycle cop for a cigarette thrown out by his friend, Brian Brooks, who promised to pay the resulting ticket but failed to do so. As a consequence, Brown discovered he had a warrant out for his arrest upon returning home from college. He humorously noted, 'Your boy had warrants at 19. That’s not a good feeling.' Despite this youthful misstep, Brown has moved on to achieve great success in Hollywood, currently starring in the new Hulu thriller Paradise, which premiered on January 26. The show, where Brown plays a secret service agent, was created by Dan Fogelman, with whom he previously collaborated on This Is Us.
