Florida Issues Amber Alert for Missing 17-Year-Old Possibly Shot in Marion County

Authorities in Marion County, Florida have issued an Amber Alert for 17-year-old Caden Speight, who is believed to have been shot and is currently missing after leaving work. Caden was last seen near the 12800 block of Southwest Highway 484 in Dunnellon with four unidentified Hispanic males who may be traveling in a light-colored van. His work truck was found abandoned at the scene of a reported shooting, with a bullet hole in the vehicle, but Caden was not present when deputies arrived. Family members reported receiving a text from Caden asking for help, stating that he had been shot by four Hispanic men. Search efforts include K-9 units and a sheriff’s office helicopter, and authorities urge the public not to approach Caden or the men if spotted, but to call 911 immediately.
