Dirt bike crash in South Huntingdon kills 18-year-old

An 18-year-old man, Donald L. Leasure, died in a dirt bike accident in South Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, on Sunday. The crash occurred around noon on Creek Road, where Leasure's KTM 300 dirt bike went off the road and over an embankment, resulting in him being thrown into Jacobs Creek. He was found deceased at the scene and was reported to not be wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The Westmoreland County Coroner is awaiting autopsy and toxicology results to determine the cause and manner of death. Pennsylvania State Police are leading the investigation and will provide further details as they emerge. The area around the crash site was temporarily blocked off while first responders managed the situation.
