Massachusetts Woman Pleads Guilty in Brothel Case

Han Lee, a Massachusetts woman, has pleaded guilty to running a high-end brothel network that catered to wealthy and prominent clients including politicians, corporate executives, and military officers in Massachusetts and Virginia. Along with her co-defendants, James Lee and Junmyung Lee, she faced charges of conspiracy to persuade individuals to travel for prostitution and money laundering. Han Lee admitted guilt without a plea agreement and faces up to 25 years in prison. Authorities estimate the network's customer base in the hundreds, but no clients have been publicly named. Some clients have appealed to keep their identities confidential. The next court appearances for her co-defendants are scheduled for late October.
