Actor Jonathan Haze Dies at Age 95

Jonathan Haze, renowned for his role as Seymour in the cult classic 'The Little Shop of Horrors' (1960), has passed away at the age of 95. His daughter, Rebecca Haze, confirmed that he died peacefully at his Los Angeles home on November 2. Haze's collaboration with director Roger Corman spanned nearly two dozen films, beginning with 'Monster from the Ocean Floor' in 1954. The original film 'The Little Shop of Horrors' later inspired a successful off-Broadway musical in 1982 and a 1986 movie adaptation featuring Rick Moranis. Haze's portrayal of Seymour, a neurotic flower shop assistant nurturing a carnivorous plant, became iconic in horror-comedy cinema. He leaves behind a legacy of over 40 film roles and numerous television appearances throughout his career.
