Neil Young, Chrome Hearts Launch 31-Date Love Earth Tour In Sweden, Europe

Neil Young and his new band, The Chrome Hearts, have launched their 2025 Love Earth Tour, beginning with a well-received show in Rättvik, Sweden. The setlist featured a mix of beloved classics such as "Cinnamon Girl," "Harvest Moon," and "Rockin' in the Free World," alongside rare performances of songs not played live in years, including "Be the Rain," "Sun Green," and "Looking Forward." Despite the recent release of their album "Talkin' to the Trees," no tracks from it were performed on opening night. Young’s tour will continue across Europe with dates in cities like Bergen and a headline performance at the Glastonbury Festival, before moving to North America in August. Young expressed concerns about touring Europe, citing potential difficulties for dual citizens like himself when returning to the U.S., especially if critical of President Donald J. Trump. The tour marks Young's return to extensive live performances after health-related cancellations in 2024.
