Everton Announces Test Matches at New Stadium

Everton Football Club is set to conduct three test events at their new stadium, located at Bramley-Moore Dock, before officially opening for the 2025/26 season. The first event will feature an Under-18s friendly match on February 17, accommodating 10,000 spectators, followed by an Under-21s match in late March or early April with a capacity of 25,000. These events are crucial for the club to obtain necessary license and safety certifications to operate the stadium at its full capacity of 52,888. The final match at Goodison Park is scheduled for May 18 against Southampton. Tickets for the initial events will be allocated through a ballot system, with applications opening on January 3. The club aims to give fans a first look at the new venue while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
