IDF Gains Control Over 65% of Gaza, Kills 100+ Hamas Operatives

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) currently hold operational control over approximately 65 percent of the Gaza Strip following intensified military operations. Over the past week, Israeli forces have killed more than 100 Hamas operatives, including senior commanders such as Hakem al-Issa and other key leaders in various brigades. The IDF’s air force has struck over 7,500 terror targets since the conflict escalated in October 2023, targeting weapons sites, tunnels, rocket launchers, and underground infrastructure to disrupt Hamas operations. Multiple IDF divisions, including the 98th, 99th, 162nd, 36th, and 143rd, are actively engaged in ground and air operations throughout Gaza, focusing on eliminating terror infrastructure and protecting Israeli communities nearby. Despite significant territorial gains, the IDF has declared its campaign will continue to achieve its military objectives and ensure the security of Israeli civilians. The ongoing offensive has resulted in substantial casualties and destruction within Gaza, reflecting the severity of the conflict.
