Bradenton Man Arrested For Second-Degree Murder In Woman's Stabbing Death After Car Crash

A 44-year-old woman named Thania Fuenmayor was found dead with extensive stab wounds outside her SUV following a minor traffic accident in Bradenton on September 28. Police investigations led to the arrest of 69-year-old Francisco Ramos-Moradel, who lived approximately two blocks from the scene and was acquainted with Fuenmayor. Ramos-Moradel has been charged with second-degree murder and is currently held at the Hillsborough County Jail awaiting extradition to Manatee County. Authorities recovered multiple items, including a knife, during the investigation. The Bradenton Police Department, with assistance from the Tampa Police Department, made the arrest.
