Steve Frisbie Wins Michigan House Recount

The recount, prompted by a discrepancy involving over 2,800 uncounted absentee ballots due to a programming error, was completed by the Board of State Canvassers in Marshall. Despite the close nature of the race, Frisbie expressed no complaints about the recount process, emphasizing his focus on serving the people of Michigan. Haadsma conceded the race following the recount, acknowledging its importance in ensuring every vote counted. The official results are set to be certified by the Board of State Canvassers on December 16. With this victory, Republicans maintain a 58-52 majority in the state House.
