The incident, described as domestic in nature, occurred around 6 p.m., prompting a search for Anderson. A witness provided a tip that led law enforcement to apprehend her near the intersection of College Street and Whitner Road. Anderson is facing assault charges and has been taken to the Newberry County Detention Center, where no bond has been set. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the altercation. The sheriff's office had previously issued a call for public assistance in locating Anderson.
