Feline Spirits Raises Rs 5.2 Cr to Expand Liquor Portfolio Across India
Feline Spirits, a homegrown craft alcoholic beverage startup founded by Prabhat Sharma and Rohit Saxena, has raised Rs 5.2 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) to support its portfolio expansion and geographic growth across India. The brand offers handcrafted vodka, whisky, and brandy in the premium and mass-premium segments, aiming to bridge the gap between low-cost mass-market alcohol and expensive international imports by delivering high-quality, well-packaged, and affordable spirits. Currently operational in eight states and union territories, Feline Spirits has served over 20 lakh customers and recorded sales of more than 4.1 lakh bottles generating over Rs 25 crore in revenue in FY24–25. The company emphasizes transparency, authentic ingredients, and innovative packaging to appeal to modern Indian consumers and claims a gross profit margin of 55% in the premium segment. IPV co-founder Ankur Mittal highlighted the startup's potential to challenge traditional market divisions, while CEO Prabhat Sharma expressed commitment to democratizing premium liquor and transforming consumer engagement with craft alcohol. The Indian spirits market's projected growth further positions Feline Spirits to capitalize on rising demand for quality local brands.
