Memphis police investigate multiple fatal shootings, suspect charged

Memphis experienced multiple deadly shootings over the weekend. In southeast Memphis, police responded to a shooting on Ridge Drive where a man was found dead; 44-year-old Raffael Newman was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree murder, though the motive and victim's identity have not been released. In another incident, a man was shot and killed on South Brighton Road in North Memphis, with the Memphis Police Department still investigating and seeking information from the community. Additionally, a separate fatal shooting occurred in Bartlett, where officers found a man dead after responding to a shots-fired call, and this case also remains under investigation.
