Fitz and The Tantrums Announce Album Release, Tour Dates

Fitz and The Tantrums have announced their sixth studio album, 'Man on the Moon,' set for release on July 25 via Atlantic Records, accompanied by the release of the energetic title track. The band describes this album as their most daring yet, emphasizing a newfound creative freedom and a return to their Motown and soul-pop roots, with frontman Michael Fitzpatrick noting a conscious move away from chasing radio hits. Co-lead vocalist Noelle Scaggs highlighted their commitment to avoiding creative stagnation and embracing difference. The project includes 14 songs and follows their 2022 album, 'Let Yourself Free.' To promote the release, the band will embark on a 31-date North American headline tour starting July 24 in San Diego and concluding August 31 in Austin, with support from artists such as Aloe Blacc, Neal Francis, and others on select dates. The album's creation and the tour reflect the group's reinvigorated artistic approach and connection to their musical roots.
