Cooper Flagg scored a record-breaking 42 points, leading No. 4 Duke to an 86-78 victory over Notre Dame and setting the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) freshman single-game scoring record. Flagg's performance surpassed the previous Duke freshman record of 35 points, held by Zion Williamson, and marked the first 40-point game by a Blue Devil since JJ Redick in 2006.
