WizCommerce Raises $8M Series A Led by Peak XV for US Expansion

WizCommerce, an AI-native sales and ecommerce platform targeting the $10 trillion U.S. wholesale market, has raised $8 million in a Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Blume Ventures, Z47, and Alpha Wave. The platform aims to modernize and streamline wholesale operations by replacing outdated systems such as spreadsheets and manual order-taking with AI-powered quoting, intelligent storefronts, ERP integration, and embedded payments, serving over 700 sales representatives and 300,000 buyers. Founded by Divyaanshu Makkar and Vikas Garg, WizCommerce processes over $100 million in gross merchandise value annually across categories including home décor, lighting, and general merchandise. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its U.S. presence, enhance AI capabilities, and build an AI workforce to automate both front-office and back-office distributor operations. Industry leaders praise WizCommerce for improving internal workflows and customer experience simultaneously, positioning it as a smarter operating system for wholesale distribution. WizCommerce is also hiring aggressively across engineering, AI, product, and go-to-market roles in both India and the U.S. to support its growth and product development.
