Search Resumes for Missing Woman in Willamette River
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has resumed its search for a 34-year-old woman who fell off a boat into the Willamette River near Molalla River State Park on Sunday. The incident was reported at approximately 5:15 p.m., prompting a coordinated response involving multiple agencies, including the Canby Fire District and water rescue teams. Search efforts have included several boats, divers from the Sheriff’s Office and Lake Oswego Fire Department, and aerial drones, but the woman has not yet been located. River traffic has been closed between the Canby Ferry and upstream of the Molalla River to facilitate the search. Although the search was suspended at nightfall on Sunday, it resumed early Monday morning as officials remain committed to finding her. The identity of the missing woman has not been released, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear.
