BYU secures commitment from elite tight end Brock Harris

Brock Harris, a four-star tight end and the top prospect in Utah for the 2026 recruiting class, has committed to BYU, marking the program's highest-rated recruit in 19 years. The 6-foot-6, 240-pound athlete chose BYU over offers from major programs like Georgia, Michigan, and Oregon, citing strong ties to the coaching staff, particularly with new tight ends coach Kevin Gilbride. Harris has had a standout high school career, recording 41 receptions for 527 yards and nine touchdowns in his junior year. His commitment was announced during a live hat ceremony at Pine View High School in St. George, Utah. With this addition, BYU strengthens its 2026 class, now featuring five recruits, including Harris, who is noted for his versatile skills as a tight end. Harris is expected to go on a mission before officially joining the team in 2027.
