Fire Kills Teacher and Daughter in Vacation Rental

Tragedy struck in Clinton, New York, as a fire claimed the lives of Shannon Hubbard, a Massachusetts preschool teacher, and her 1-year-old daughter, Margaret. Shannon, her husband John, and their children were vacationing when the fire broke out in their rental home.
