Freakier Friday Sequel Set for August 2025

Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan have remained close since co-starring as a mother-daughter duo in Disney's 2003 Freaky Friday. Their enduring friendship and mentorship, now deepened by motherhood, helped inspire the sequel, Freakier Friday, after a viral photo reignited public interest. Jamie Lee Curtis originally joined the first film only two days before shooting began, describing it as a whirlwind experience. In the upcoming sequel, both actresses will reprise their roles and this time will swap bodies with two additional characters. Several original cast members will also return. Freakier Friday is scheduled for release on August 8, 2025.
