Silvia Onofri Named Miu Miu CEO, Effective February 26

Silvia Onofri has been appointed as the new CEO of Miu Miu, effective February 26, succeeding Benedetta Petruzzo, who moved to Christian Dior Couture. Onofri brings significant experience from her time as president of Napapijri and over 15 years at Bally, where she rose to senior roles including CEO for the EMEA region. Miu Miu has seen remarkable growth, with retail revenues soaring 97% to €854 million in the first nine months of 2024, making up 25% of Prada Group's total sales. The brand's popularity continues to rise, recently being named the most sought-after brand by Lyst for Q4 2024. Onofri's primary challenge will be to maintain this momentum and oversee future expansions, particularly in the European and U.S. markets. Prada Group's overall performance reflects a strong brand identity and creative dynamism, driving impressive revenue growth across its luxury lines.
