A tragic bear attack in Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh, resulted in the death of Pinki Devi, 44, and serious injuries to her sister-in-law, Thanthi Devi, 56. Immediate relief compensation of Rs 10,000 was provided to Pinki's family, while Rs 5,000 was given to Thanthi, who is currently stable in the hospital.
