Ahead of the October 5 Assembly elections in Haryana, the BJP and Congress have released their manifestos, each promising various welfare measures. BJP's manifesto, unveiled by J.P. Nadda, includes Rs 2,100 monthly assistance to women, 2 lakh government jobs, free dialysis, and scholarships for OBC/SC/ST students, along with the creation of 10 industrial towns and MSP for 24 crops. In contrast, Congress's manifesto, presented by Mallikarjun Kharge, guarantees a legal MSP, a caste survey, restoration of the Old Pension Scheme, Rs 6,000 monthly pension for the elderly, disabled, and widows, and 300 units of free electricity. Both parties aim to address unemployment, with BJP focusing on skill development and industrial job creation, while Congress promises to fill one lakh government vacancies.
