Ann-Marie McGlynn Wins National Cross Country Title

Ann-Marie McGlynn made history by winning both the National Marathon and National Cross Country titles in the same year, a first for any athlete in Ireland. McGlynn, who competed just three weeks after her marathon victory, finished the cross country race in 27:05, securing her win by 11 seconds.
