19-Year-Old Arrested in Lancaster Shooting Deaths

Miguel Sandoval, a 19-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of murdering four individuals in a Lancaster home fire that occurred on November 16. The shooting left three victims, identified as Christine Asa-Ca (26), Edwin Garcia (24), and Janvi Maquindang (21), dead at the scene, while a fourth victim, Matthew Montebello, passed away in the hospital shortly after. A 16-year-old girl was present during the incident but survived by hiding and calling 911. Authorities believe the shooting was an isolated incident, and the investigation is ongoing, with no clear motive established yet. Sandoval faces four counts of murder and is being held on an $8 million bail, with his court appearance scheduled for November 25. The case will be submitted to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for charges.
