Former NHL player and current analyst Paul Bissonnette was assaulted by a group of six men at a Scottsdale restaurant after he intervened to stop their harassment of staff members. The incident occurred when Bissonnette confronted the drunken golfers, leading to a brawl that spilled outside. Following the attack, police arrested the six individuals involved: Henry P. Mesker, John G. Carroll, William J. Carroll, Danny Bradley, Edward J. Jennings, and Sean M. Daley, with Daley facing felony charges. Bissonnette sustained only minor injuries and was briefly hospitalized.
