METLEN Energy Files for London Listing

METLEN Energy & Metals SA has initiated the process for a primary listing on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), aiming to enhance shareholder liquidity and diversify its geographical presence while retaining a secondary listing on the Athens Stock Exchange. The company submitted a draft prospectus to the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as part of its strategic plan to bolster its competitive edge in the energy and industrial sectors. Chairman Evangelos Mytilineos expressed confidence that the LSE listing aligns with METLEN's goals and will create growth opportunities. With a market capitalization of approximately €4.9 billion, METLEN is also reportedly targeting inclusion in the FTSE 100. This move comes as METLEN seeks to expand internationally, even as other companies are pulling away from the London market post-Brexit. The regulatory process is expected to continue through 2025, with further updates anticipated.
