Identities Released in Victoria Plane Crash

A tragic light plane crash in Tinamba West, Victoria's Gippsland region, resulted in the deaths of a young pilot and two teenage passengers, identified as Luke Smith, 20, his brother Ben, 16, and their cousin Dustin Daly, 15. Witnesses reported hearing unusual engine noises as the amateur-built aircraft circled before crashing and bursting into flames. Emergency services responded to the crash around 5:45 pm, but all three occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) has launched an investigation and is seeking witness accounts and any available footage. The families of the victims have requested privacy as they mourn and receive support from the community.
