Yungblud, Aerosmith Members Perform Ozzy Osbourne Tribute at 2025 VMAs

The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards will feature a special tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne, with a supergroup including Yungblud, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, and guitarist Nuno Bettencourt performing a medley of Osbourne's greatest hits. The ceremony, hosted by LL Cool J, is set to air live from New York's UBS Arena on September 7 at 8 p.m. Eastern on CBS and MTV, and will also stream on Paramount+. This tribute follows Osbourne's final concert on July 5, 2025, in Birmingham, England, where several of these artists also performed, and his death shortly thereafter on July 22 at age 76. Ozzy Osbourne was a two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and had a long-standing relationship with MTV, including his Emmy-winning reality series The Osbournes. The tribute marks a rare reunion for Aerosmith members Tyler and Perry, who have not officially performed together since their farewell tour was canceled in 2023. The VMAs will also showcase performances by leading nominees like Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, and others.
