Bestseller India's CEO Vineet Gautam Steps Down

Vineet Gautam, the CEO and Country Head of Bestseller India, has announced his decision to step down after 15 years, with his last working day set for December 31, 2024. During his tenure, he was instrumental in launching and establishing several popular apparel brands in India, including JACK & JONES and Vero Moda, significantly expanding the company's retail footprint to over 1,578 shop-in-shops and 332 exclusive outlets. Gautam expressed pride in the team and the legacy they built together, aiming to bring a new wave of fashion to the Indian market. Bestseller's owner, Anders Holch Povlsen, commended Gautam's contributions, while the company reaffirms its commitment to growth in India. Mrithyunjay Amblimath, currently the head of sales, will take over as the interim leader. Gautam's exit marks the end of an impactful era for Bestseller India.
