Hillsborough campaigner Phil Hammond dies at 67

Phil Hammond, a prominent advocate for the Hillsborough families, has passed away, prompting an outpouring of tributes. Following the death of his 14-year-old son Philip in the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, Hammond became a leading figure in the fight for justice, serving as the chairman of the Hillsborough Family Support Group. The Hillsborough Survivors Support Alliance expressed deep sadness at his passing, noting he is now 'reunited with his son.'
