Nuggets, Spurs Sign Summer League Standouts to Deals

David Jones-Garcia has signed a two-way contract with the San Antonio Spurs after averaging over 22 points per game and shooting above 52% from three-point range in the Summer League, earning all-tournament honors at both the California Classic and Las Vegas Summer Leagues. Jones-Garcia previously played for the Mexico City Capitanes in the G League. Similarly, Curtis Jones, a former Iowa State standout, has agreed to a two-way contract with the Denver Nuggets following a strong Summer League showing where he averaged 14.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and shot 54.9% from the field. Both players' two-way contracts allow them to split time between their NBA teams and respective G League affiliates, and to participate in up to 50 NBA games per season.
