Paramount+ launches psychological thriller Little Disasters December 11

Paramount+ is set to premiere "Little Disasters," a six-part psychological thriller series adapted from Sarah Vaughan's bestselling novel, on December 11, 2025, exclusively in the U.S., Canada, GSA, Italy, and Latin America. The series centers on a decade-long friendship among four expectant mothers—Jess, Liz, Charlotte, and Mel—whose bond is tested when Jess brings her baby to the hospital with an unexplained head injury. Liz, an ER doctor and close friend, faces the agonizing decision to report Jess to social services, triggering a chain of events that threatens to fracture their families and friendship. The show stars Diane Kruger as Jess, alongside Jo Joyner, Shelley Conn, and Emily Taaffe, with direction by BAFTA nominee Eva Sigurðardóttir. Previously, the series premiered in the UK and Ireland earlier in 2025 and is produced by the BAFTA-winning team at Roughcut Television in association with Fremantle. The thriller combines realism and suspense to offer an intimate yet unnerving portrayal of modern motherhood.
