Jason Robinson Charged in Norfolk Homicide
Jason M. Robinson, a 35-year-old man from Portsmouth, has been charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in connection with the shooting death of Christian J. Williams, 48, in Norfolk on October 10. Williams was shot in the 4600 block of Kincaid Avenue and subsequently crashed his vehicle into another car on Kerrey Avenue, where he was found by police with life-threatening injuries. Despite being transported to the hospital, Williams succumbed to his injuries shortly after. Robinson was arrested on December 29 for an unrelated matter and is currently held without bond at Chesapeake City Jail. Authorities have not disclosed a motive for the shooting. This case highlights ongoing issues of gun violence and homicide in the region.
